設計概念｜台鐵列車 EMU600型電聯車

本空間以「台鐵列車車廂」為核心靈感，轉化為靜態空間的場域體驗。入口區域以車廂側門形式呈現，搭配垂直線條金屬材質牆面，模擬車體外觀的鋁合金質地，營造出台鐵車廂的工業感與速度感。左右立柱如同月台兩側結構，形成如登車口般的視覺導引。櫃檯設計參考車廂內部座位排列與窗口形式，以開放式售票窗／訂便當口為靈感，提供快速有效的點餐體驗；其背牆選用車廂內典型的深藍與灰色調，呼應列車配色，並營造台鐵主色氛圍。燈光設計採用間接照明，模擬車廂頂部日光燈的柔和光源，提升舒適度並強調導引功能。標示系統則延伸自台鐵站體語彙，融入出口標示、路線導引及便當品項，如同車站告示牌般清晰易讀，強化整體台鐵識別性。整體空間如同一節靜止的列車，讓顧客在忙碌旅途中得以短暫停留，品味台鐵經典便當，也重溫鐵道旅程的懷舊記憶與人情溫度。

Design Concept｜Taiwan Railways EMU600 Series Electric Multiple Unit

This space takes inspiration from the “Taiwan Railways train carriage,” specifically the EMU600 series, and transforms it into a static yet immersive spatial experience. The entrance is designed to resemble the side door of a train carriage, with vertically lined metal wall panels that simulate the aluminum texture of the train’s exterior—conveying both an industrial aesthetic and a sense of speed. Flanking columns mimic the structural elements on either side of a platform, guiding the visual flow like a boarding gate.

The counter design draws from the interior layout of the train’s seating and window configurations. Inspired by open-style ticket booths and bento-ordering windows, it offers a fast and efficient ordering experience. The back wall adopts the deep blue and gray tones characteristic of the EMU600's interior, echoing the train’s color palette and reinforcing the distinctive Taiwan Railways atmosphere.

Lighting is designed with indirect illumination, emulating the soft, diffused glow of fluorescent lights typically found in the carriage ceiling—enhancing comfort while supporting wayfinding. The signage system extends the design language of Taiwan Railways stations, incorporating exit signs, route directions, and bento menus in a format reminiscent of station notice boards—clear, legible, and instantly recognizable.

Overall, the space becomes a still carriage—allowing customers to pause in the midst of a busy journey, savor a classic Taiwan Railways bento, and relive the nostalgic warmth and human connection of train travel.
